Surfrider
For over 22 years the Surfrider Foundation has been raising awareness of not just the importance of keeping our oceans and coastline clean, but also for sharing the joy of surfing with the world. Their involvement with Doo Dah Surf ushers in an exciting new step for Doo Dah Surf. Through Doo Dah Surf Day 2006, we hope to further enhance Sourthern California’s appreciation for how beautiful our coastline is, and how much fun surfing can be.
9:Fish Surf
Founded by Southern Californians, Wesley Negus and Sunny Trinh, 9:Fish Surf is a welcome addition to this event. And by raffling off one boad, to one lucky winner, 9:Fish Surf adds greatly to the festivities. Featuring a line of old school fish boards, visitors will be able to demo models and maybe even place an order or two.
One Last Wave
Since 2002, onelastwave.com has provided Southern California surfers and thousands across the globe with access to some of the best surf photography around. Created by fellow Doo Dah Founder, webmaster and photographer, Carolyn, One Last Wave is truly a celebration of surfing. For Doo Dah Surf 2006, Carolyn will be on waves, on the bluff and in the water helping to document the biggest and best Doo Dah Surf of them all.
Goofyface.com
For something as goofy as Doo Dah Surf, the addition of Goofyface is only natural. This all-ages humor sites were created by fellow Doo Dah Founder, Ken and feature galleries of people making goofyfaces, and one that offers goofy ringtones. Goofyface.com will be present throughout the day having fun, catching waves and celebrating the goofiness in the water and on the faces of those participating.
