4)  Why should I collect money for them?
Because you want the water you surf and swim in to be cleaner. The local chapter of Surfrider Foundation is working to raise awareness about the dirty water at our beaches.  They have organized programs such as Teach & Test that allow highschool students to perform water testing for school credit, and Ocean Friendly Gardens, a new approach to gardening that minimizes urban runoff. That's why the Surfrider Foundation needs your help!
